Appointed by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to the Canada Electricity Advisory Committee, Pete is well-respected for his understanding of the cross-jurisdictional opportunities. He understands the challenges faced by Canada in its transition to clean electricity and a net-zero economy. 

Pete has a strong background in utility infrastructure planning, development, and execution. Moreover, he’s adept in regulatory processes across Canada, with a particular focus on supporting Indigenous-led electricity projects and partnerships. He has hands-on experience in routing, siting, stakeholder engagement, and permitting transmission infrastructure projects in Alberta.
